Hi! I’m Jinell Marie.
Speaking truth in love is essential for growth. Reaching our full potential and preserving our peace means not pretending everything is fine when it isn't. It means acknowledging when we haven’t arrived, even when we think otherwise. Growth involves making tough decisions and having honest conversations, starting with ourselves and then with others as needed.
I am a believer that with the Lord’s help and our willingness to do the work and move forward, we can. move mountains and become all that we are purposed to be.
I am a Transitional Life Coach. My passion for coaching and helping others has always been a part of me. In the last eight years I decided to make it more intentional. I come with a heart of compassion combined with the knowledge that sometimes we all need a friendly nudge and a different way of seeing things. Everyone needs accountability, encouragement, and acceptance.
I try to find the good in situations and in others, though I've faced my share of challenges.
Growing up, I took on more responsibilities than most 10-year-olds because my mother struggled with depression. It meant I missed out on many of the carefree childhood moments and the traditional sense of family. Despite this, I worked hard to keep our family bond strong. Losing one of my younger brothers to a tragic accident was a tough blow during an already difficult time.
After a 25-year marriage, I experienced the pain of an unwanted divorce. It was tough, but each challenge has taught me the value of resilience and the importance of nurturing family and self.
Later, my family and I faced the heartbreaking loss of my first granddaughter at just four months old. Amid this difficult time, we also experienced the unexpected passing of my mother.
Through it all, though, the Lord met me, took care of us, and gave me more than I asked for.
The gift of my husband Mark has brought such joy, thankfulness, and grounding! We are now going on more than ten years of marriage together.
Mark and I reside in Southern California. Between the two of us, we have three sons, three wonderful daughters in love, and seven grandchildren who are the apple of our eyes.
In my free time…
For fun, I enjoy outdoor activities like walking, hiking, camping, and exploring. The oceans, trees, and mountains fill me up, and a bicycle ride in those places is the cherry on top. I revel in traveling and discovering new places.
I love a good book and deep conversations; laughing, dancing, and having fun with friends and family are what fill me up! Hosting a great party or holiday gathering is my and my husband’s superpower!
Mark and I dream of buying a travel trailer and exploring the great USA together one day.
I’m passionate about reading and writing. I love painting, gardening, home projects, making creative gifts, creating unique spaces, and DIY projects. Getting together with friends and family and hosting in our home are things I live for. I get a thrill from joking with my friends and making them laugh. Traditions and holidays hold a very special place in my heart.
